Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Lacey got her first taste of the culinary world at an early age. She worked alongside her dad on TV and movie sets, keeping the cast and crew fed with craft services. Her love for food grew as she savored every moment, and these experiences inspired a successful career in the hospitality and food industry that lasted over 20 years – with almost every role on her resumé.
In 2015, Lacey took a courageous leap by developing her own healthy, all-natural cocktail line of organic infused products. She started out peddling her products at farmer’s markets throughout Los Angeles, offering nutritious, scratch-made small bites as well. Within the very first year, her products were already stocked in bars and restaurants across the country, including Las Vegas hotel groups.
Mark MacGillivray’s foray into the food scene occurred at his father’s restaurant in Kennebunkport, Maine. He worked virtually every job there as he grew up, gaining experience with each new role. Mark then moved to Hilton Head to pursue his dream as a golf professional. After years in the golf biz, he traded his clubs for a career in the mortgage industry – where he thrived for over a decade.
Mark often used his self-taught culinary skills to serve meals to family and close friends, and his knack of entertaining and meal preparation soon earned a considerable following. This attracted Lacey’s attention, a fellow foodie who shared his love for the kitchen and all things culinary. Together they have brought their first concept to fruition: Lacey’s Takeaway!
